Currently reigning as the ONE Super Series Muay Thai Flyweight World Champion is Muay Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, a Thai martial artist based in Singapore. On May 18, 2018, he became the first champion of the division by knocking out Sergio “Samurai” Wielzen of the Netherlands in the co-main event of “ONE: Unstoppable Dreams,” which took place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.

On March 17, 2018, Petchdam won a Muay Thai tournament in Ayutthaya Province, Thailand.  He defeated Markus Kalberg of Norway via decision at Topking World Series’s “MONO29 Topking WorldSeries 2018 Ayothaya – A Fight to Honor Nai Kanom Tom.”

Like Petchdam, Tonna is making his ONE Super Series debut at “ONE: Pursuit of Power.” It will be one of the three ONE Super Series matches of the evening.

The second ONE Super Series match at “ONE: Pursuit of Power” will be between Sergej Maslobojev of Lithuania and Florent Kaouachi of France . They will compete in a kickboxing match in the middleweight division.

“ONE: Pursuit of Power” will be the second ONE Championship event to take place in Malaysia in 2018. It will be headlined by “Smokin” Jo Nattawut of Thailand and Yohann Fairtex Drai of France, who will compete in a Muay Thai contest in the featherweight division.

The first ONE Championship event to take place in Malaysia in 2018 was “ONE: Visions of Victory.” On March 9, 2018, the crowd at the Axiata Arena witnessed how Reece “Lightning” McLaren of Australia submitted Gianni Subba of Malaysia via arm-triangle choke in the main event.
