A featherweight bout between former ONE Featherweight World Champion Narantungalag “Tungaa” Jadambaa, 42, of Mongolia and Kazuki Tokudome, 31, of Japan has been booked for “ONE: Pursuit of Power.” The latter competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship from 2013 to 2014.

Taking place at the Axiata Arena, “ONE: Pursuit of Power” will feature 10 bouts. In the seventh bout of the evening, Jadambaa and Tokudome will compete in the featherweight division.

“ONE Championship returns to the Axiata Arena this 13 July for another blockbuster evening of world-class martial arts action,” ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced. “We have an amazing event planned for fans in Kuala Lumpur, as our ONE Championship athletes get ready to electrify the stadium with dazzling performances.”

“In the main event, Malaysia’s very own Agilan ‘Alligator’ Thani takes on Zebaztian ‘The Bandit’ Kadestam in a welterweight contest,” Sityodtong added. “Also, Jo Nattawut will face Yohann Fairtex Drai in a ONE Super Series Muay Thai contest.”

“ONE: Pursuit of Power” marks the eighth time Jadambaa is competing in ONE Championship. He reigned as the ONE Featherweight World Champion from August 29, 2014 to November 21, 2015.

Jadambaa first began training in judo as a child and took up karate when he was a teenager. He now holds black belts in both disciplines, proving his proficiency and dedication to both.

After moving to Japan to further his martial arts career, Jadambaa began training in kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling, as well. Over the course of a highly successful career, he has faced some of the biggest names in the world.

Before becoming a ONE Featherweight World Champion, Jadambaa went on to capture the Legend FC lightweight title. He currently holds a professional MMA record of 13 wins and 5 losses.

On the other hand, Tokudome has 18 wins and 8 losses. From 2013 to 2014, he competed in the UFC four times.

One of the opponents Tokudome faced in the UFC was Norman “Stormin” Parke, 30, of Northern Ireland, who is currently signed with Bahrain-based MMA promotion Brave Combat Federation. Here is Parke talking about Tokudome:
