Fighting out of Jakarta, Indonesia, Priscilla “Thathi” Hertati Lumban Gaol, 30, is set to fight inside the ONE Championship cage for the sixth time. On July 13, 2018, the Indonesian mixed martial artist will compete at “ONE: Pursuit of Power” against Jihin “Shadowcat” Radzuan, 19, who is fight out of Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Gaol and Radzuan will compete in the women’s atomweight division at “ONE: Pursuit of Power,” which will take place at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It will be the second match and the only female bout out of the 10 bouts of the evening.
If Gaol wins at “ONE: Pursuit of Power,” it will be her fourth ONE Championship win. Her entry to the promotion was a tough one as she lost to her first two opponents in the promotion, namely Tiffany “No Chill” Teo, 28, of Singapore and Gina “Conviction” Iniong, 28, of the Philippines.
After the two consecutive losses, Gaol bounced back and defeated her next three opponents. In 2018 alone, she defeated Malaysian fighter Audreylaura “Ice Comet” Boniface Raphael, 28, and Filipino contenders Krisna Limbaga, 28 and Rome “The Rebel” Trinidad, 21.
At the age of 17, Gaol started training in Wushu. She then competed for the Indonesian national team and captured both an Indonesian National Wushu Championship and a local boxing title.
At the Southeast Asian Games, Gaol won a bronze medal in Wushu with her striking success spurring her towards a career in MMA. The Jakarta native currently holds a professional MMA record of 3 wins and 2 losses, which she aims to improve at “ONE: Pursuit of Power.”
In the main event of “ONE: Pursuit of Power,” Agilan “Alligator” Thani, 22, and Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam, 27, of Sweden will compete in the welterweight division. The co-main event is a ONE Super Series Muay Thai featherweight contest between “Smokin” Jo Nattawut, 28, of Thailand and Yohann Fairtex Drai, 26, of France.
