Fighting out of China, Peng Xue Wen, 21, has just earned his second victory in ONE Championship. On July 7, 2018, the Chinese mixed martial artist defeated his Malaysian opponent at “ONE: Battle for the Heavens,” which took place at the Guangzhou Tianhe Gymnasium in Guangzhou, China.
“ONE: Battle for the Heavens” featured seven MMA matches and three striking-only bouts under ONE Super Series. In the second bout of the evening, Peng battled it out with Eddey “The Clown” Kalai, 36, of Malaysia.
With Yuji Shimada as the referee, Peng and Kalai competed in the strawweight division. The referee put a stop to the contest at 0:57 of Round 1 when the Chinese contender knocked out his Malaysian opponent.
After beating Kalai at “ONE: Battle for the Heavens,” Peng improved his professional MMA record to 2 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, Kalai’s record downgraded to 0 win and 4 losses.
Peng is training out of Ninja MMA. “ONE: Battle for the Heavens” marked his third ONE Championship bout.

In the co-main event of the evening, Reece “Lightning” McLaren, 26, of Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia competed against Tatsumitsu “The Sweeper” Wada, 29, of Kofu, Yamanashi, Japan in the flyweight division.
In the main event, Yodcherry Sityodtong, 19, of Thailand and Kai Ting “Killer Bee” Chuang, 23, of Taiwan competed for the inaugural ONE Super Series Kickboxing Atomweight World Championship.
