Fighting out of Marseilles, France, Yohann Fairtex Drai, 26, has joined ONE Championship. The promotion is bringing its striking-only league ONE Super Series to Malaysia in an event titled “ONE: Pursuit of Power” and the French fighter is on the card.
Drai’s first assignment in ONE Championship is a ONE Super Series Muay Thai featherweight bout against “Smokin” Jo Nattawut, 28, of Thailand. It will be the co-main event of “ONE: Pursuit of Power” and the ninth bout of the evening.
“ONE: Pursuit of Power” will take place at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 13, 2018. It will feature seven mixed martial arts bouts and three ONE Super Series matches.
“ONE Championship returns to the Axiata Arena this 13 July for another blockbuster evening of world-class martial arts action,” ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced. “We have an amazing event planned for fans in Kuala Lumpur, as our ONE Championship athletes get ready to electrify the stadium with dazzling performances.”
Before joining ONE Championship, Drai has competed in All Star Fight, Kunlun Fight, Max Muay Thai, Super Muay Thai, Thai Fight and Wu Lin Feng. He is a proponent of the prestigious Fairtex Training Center in Pattaya, Thailand.
