Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai, 29, of Thailand has been competing in ONE Championship since 2012. He is set to exhibit his OneShin Striking System in the cage once again in front of his countrymen.

The creator of the OneShin Striking System, Wiratchai is one of the most thrilling offensive innovators in ONE Championship. He developed his own style that incorporates various elements from Muay Thai, boxing, wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Training out of Tiger Muay Thai and Bangkok Fight Lab, Wiratchai emerges as Thailand’s biggest and most exciting martial arts star. In his most recent bout, which took place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand at “ONE: Iron Will” on March 24, 2018, he knocked out Rahul K. Raju of India.

On October 6, 2018, ONE Championship will return to the Impact Arena for “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes.” Wiratchai will be one of the hometown heroes confirmed to be on the card along with Yodsanklai IWE Fairtex, 33, Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, 32, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, 31, Rika “Tiny Doll” Ishige, 29, and Petchmorrakot Wor. Sangprapai, 24.

On July 9, 2018, Wiratchai, Yodsanklai, Gaiyanghadao, Sor Rungvisai, Ishige, and Petchmorrakot attended the “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” press conference at the W Hotel in Bangkok along with ONE Championship chairman and CEo Chatri Sityodtong. During the event, Wiratchai stated, “Competing in front of my hometown fans is always a great pleasure.”

“It is an honor for me to represent my country,” Wiratchai continued. “I will do my best to make my people proud. Since I joined ONE Championship, I have learned so much that it has helped me throughout my career. I feel that I am ready to take the next step.”

Currently, Wiratchai holds a professional MMA record of 9 wins and 2 losses. He intends to improve this by using his OneShin Striking System to overpower his opponent at “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes,” who is yet to be announced.
