Fighting out of Ulaangom, Mongolia, Narantungalag “Tungaa” Jadambaa, 42, has just earned his 14th victory as a professional mixed martial artist. It is also his sixth win in ONE Championship.
On July 13, 2018, ONE Championship returned to Malaysia for “ONE: Pursuit of Power” featuring eight mixed martial arts matches and three striking bouts in ONE Super Series. The eighth bout of the evening was between Jadambaa and Kazuki Tokudome, 31, of Tokyo, Japan.

The Mongolian contender reigned as the ONE Featherweight World Champion from August 29, 2014 to November 21, 2015. By defeating Tokudome, he improved his professional MMA record of 14 wins and 5 losses
“ONE: Pursuit of Power” marks Jadambaa’s eighth bout in the ONE Championship. In his seventh bout in the promotion, which was on November 11, 2016, he lost in his rematch with Marat “Cobra” Gafurov, 33, of Russia, who is also a former ONE Featherweight World Champion.
After losing to Gafurov, Jadambaa went on hiatus for more than a year. He successfully returned to the cage on June 23, 2018 at “ONE: Pinnacle of Power” by knocking out Edward “The Ferocious” Kelly, 33, of the Philippines.
“ONE: Pursuit of Power” marked the ONE Championship debut of Tokudome. Before joining the promotion, the Japanese fighter competed in Pancrase and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The only fighter Tokudome defeated in the UFC is Cristiano Marcello, 40, of Brazil, who recently signed with Bahrain-based MMA promotion Brave Combat Federation. After failing to defeat Jadambaa at “ONE: Pursuit of Power,” the Japanese fighter now has 18 wins and 9 losses.
The last time Tokudome won in the cage was on July 2, 2017. He defeated Kieran “The Stonecutter” Joblin, 29, of New Zealand via unanimous decision at “Pancrase 288.”
