Thai-Japanese mixed martial arts star Rika “Tiny Doll” Ishige, 29, is one of the hometown heroes set to compete at “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” on October 6, 2018 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. It will be the second ONE Champion event in Thailand in 2018.
“I hope to be able to represent Thailand to the best of my ability in my next match,” Ishige stated. “Fans can expect a brand new Rika Ishige when I step back into the cage.”
Ishige’s opponent at “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” is yet to be announced. She is looking to redeem herself from her loss to Angelie Sabanal, 28, of the Philippines at “ONE: Iron Will” at the Impact Arena on March 24, 2018.
“I have been working very hard on improving my skills, especially in the striking department where I have a lot of work to do,” the Thai-Japanese MMA fighter shared. “But each day that goes by I become more and more confident in my skills. Working with the best martial arts athletes, training partners and coaches, I am blessed.”
