Petchmorrakot Wor. Sangprapai, 24, was one of the athletes who attended the official “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” open workout at Nakornloung Promotion Gym in Bangkok, Thailand on August 28, 2018. He is one of the fighters in ONE Championship’s striking-only league ONE Super Series to come from Thailand.

“ONE Super Series is the right path for me and my professional career,” Wor. Sangprapai said. “The desire to compete, it’s still in me.”

On June 23, 2018, Wor. Sangprapai made his ONE Super Series debut at at “ONE: Pinnacle of Power” in Macau, China. He knocked out his French opponent Fabrice Fairtex Delannon in a catchweight Muay Thai bout.

“I am glad that I was able to make a ONE Super Series debut earlier this year because it has already given me the feel of what the future holds,” Wor. Sangprapai said. “It’s a great opportunity for every practitioner of Muay Thai.”

Wor. Sangprapai will make his ONE Super Series return at “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes,” which will take place at the Impact Arena in Bangkok on October 6, 2018. In the main event, reigning The Ring and WBC Super Flyweight World Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai of Thailand will defend his title against Iran “MagnifiKO” Diaz of Mexico.

“For the first time in history, the best of the best from different combat sports will join together on 6 October,” Wor. Sangprapai declared. “I am excited for this, especially for Muay Thai. I am ready to take this next step into my career.”

“This is a chance for me to showcase my skills to the world and to show fans the beauty of Muay Thai,” the Thai martial artist added. “You can say that I’ve done it all in the sport, but it’s not yet over for me. I am still grinding everyday.

Hailing from Ubon Ratchathani in Thailand’s northern Isan region, Wor. Sangprapai has already defeated some of the biggest names in Muay Thai, earning multiple accolades in the process. Spurred by his success and proven talent, he went on to claim the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium World Championship in two divisions, as well as the World Muaythai Council Muay Thai title, in a career spanning almost 200 professional bouts.

Also in attendance at the “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” open workout were ONE Championship athletes Sagetdao “Deadly Star” Petpayathai and Rika “Tiny Doll” Ishige. Here is a teaser of the upcoming event in Bangkok:
