Gadzhimusa Gaziev
Gadzhimusa “Deadshot” Gaziev, 26, of Dagestan, Russia has responded to the recent prediction of Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine, 34, of Beirut, Lebanon on their upcoming bout. The two are scheduled to compete in the welterweight division at “Brave 16.”
Fakhreddine believes that he is going to knock out Gaziev at “Brave 16.” In response, the Dagestani mixed martial artist said, “No one knows how this fight will end but I will do my best to test your chin, taking into account how old and weak you are right now.”
“Brave 16” will take place at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on September 21, 2018. Both Gaziev and Fakhreddine are making competing in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion Brave Combat Federation for the fifth time.
“Your optimism is inappropriate,” Gaziev said, referring to Fakhreddine. “But I respect each fighter.”
In Fakhreddine’s most recent Brave CF bout, which was at “Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises” in Amman, Jordan on March 2, 2018, he was knocked out by Tahar “Fast Hands” Hadbi, 31, of Algeria. The Beirut native holds a professional MMA record of 10 wins and 2 losses.
On the other hand, Gaziev has 8 wins and 3 losses. In his most recent Brave CF bout, which was at “Brave 12: KHK Legacy” in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 11, 2018, he knocked out former UFC fighter Leonardo “Macarrão” Mafra, 29, of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Two titles are at stake at “Brave 16.” In the main event of the event, Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe, 26, of Jordan will challenge reigning Brave CF Welterweight Champion, Carlston “Mocambique” Harris, 30, Guyana. In the co-main event, Bubba Jenkins, 30, of the United States will challenge reigning Brave CF Featherweight Champion Elias “Smile” Boudegzdame, 24, of Algeria.
The public weigh-ins for “Brave 16” will take place on September 20, 2018. Meanwhile, watch the rematch between Fakhreddine and Tadbi here:
