Malaysia vs Singapore: Keng Fai, Abdelelah Karroum to clash at ‘Roar of Singapore V: The Kings of Lion City’ at Marina Bay Sands

One of the boxing champions of Ringstar Boxing on the “Roar of Singapore V: The Kings of Lion City” card is reigning International Boxing Organization Oceania Welterweight Champion Keng “The Mean Machine” Fai, 23, of Malaysia. He is an undefeated boxer with a professional record of 4 wins and 0 loss.

At “Roar of Singapore V: The Kings of Lion City,” Fai will face another undefeated boxer, Abdelelah Karroum, 25, of Singapore. The latter, who has 3 wins and 0 loss, was originally from France.

“He has a long way to go but he is a talent to look out for and a future world title contender,” Ringstar Boxing founder and CEO Scott Farrell said of Fai. The former also described the latter as a “very young” boxer and “a new prospect that hits like a truck.”

One of the champions competing at “Roar of Singapore V: The Kings of Lion City” is also from Singapore. Undefeated Singaporean boxer Muhamad “The Chosen Wan” Ridhwan, 30, will face Paulus “The Rock” Ambunda, 38, of Namibia.

Ridhwan is the reigning International Boxing Organization World Bantamweight Champion. At “Roar of Singapore V: The Kings of Lion City,” he and Ambunda will compete for the IBO World Super Bantamweight title.

“Roar of Singapore V: The Kings of Lion City” will take place at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on September 29, 2018. The venue is also co-promoting the boxing event.

Among the “Roar of Singapore V: The Kings of Lion City” sponsors and partners are NTUC Fairprice, Marina Bay Sands, Nutrifirst, Cobra Energy Drink and Roomaif. Ringstar Boxing’s broadcast partners include FIGHT SPORTS, ESPN TV5 Philippines, MediaCorp Okto, Astro Malaysia and FTA channel for delayed broadcast.

Ringside seats for “Roar of Singapore V: The Kings of Lion City” are priced at SGD 192 while VVIP seats with personalized waiter service, canapes and beverage are at SGD 2,504. Priced at SGD 4,032, a VIP table seats eight persons and it comes with a 3-course dinner and free flow beverage.
