Oct. 8, 2018, Gatorade Hoops Center, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines – Sixteen Jr. NBA All-Stars of the Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 presented by Alaska got a special send-off this year from Alaska Milk the day before they left for their NBA Experience Trip to Shanghai, China. The group included eight boys and eight girls.

After topping the Jr. NBA National Training Camp in May 2018, the eight boys and eight girls underwent a basketball clinic conducted by NBA legend Cherokee Parks and 4-time WNBA All-Star and Los Angeles Sparks guard-forward Alana Beard with United States Ambassador to the Philippines Sung Kim in attendance. Present during the send-off were Alaska Power Camp Head Coach Jeffery Cariaso, Alaska Milk Corporation Sports Development Head Richard Bachmann and NBA Global Partnerships Director Mae Dichupa.

During the NBA Experience Trip, the All-Stars will play against counterpart Jr NBA All Stars from Vietnam, India, Thailand, Singapore and Jakarta, do city tours and watch an official preseason NBA game live between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Dallas Mavericks. They will be accompanied by Coaches of the Year Mark “Tata” Belangel and Hazell Yambot.

The Jr. NBA Philippines 2018 boys are Prince Ray Alao, Christian Joi Mesias, Nathan Jan Jundana, Kim Aaron Tamayo, Ethan Rod Alian, Seven Gagate, John Lester Amagan and Manuel Luis Antonio Pablo. The girls are Marielle Vigno, Madelyn Flores, Christine Nichole Venterez, Gin Kayla Huelar, Aishe Mae Solis, Amber Esquivel, Kyla Mataga and Pauline Angelique Valle, Jr.
