Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 23, will represent the Philippines at the Brave International Combat Week 2018. The reigning Brave Combat Federation Bantamweight Champion will be the only mixed martial artist from his country to participate in the sports event like in its 2017 edition.

Brave International Combat Week 2018 is by far the largest combat sports event hosted in Asia. It will feature multiple cultural and social events alongside expos, outreach programs and media events as well as the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF)-World Mixed Martial Arts Association (WMMAA) Unified World Championships 2018 and “Brave 18.”

Happening alongside “WFCA 54” of World Fighting Championship Akhmat, “Brave 18” will take place at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town in the Kingdom of Bahrain on November 16, 2018. The join fight card will feature 12 MMA bouts.

In the ninth bout of the evening, Loman will defend his title from Felipe Efrain, 24, of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The defending champion is training out of Team Lakay in Baguio City, Philippines under the tutelage of the legendary MMA coach Mark Sangiao.

Loman will be the only Filipino fighter at “Brave 18.” He is the youngest reigning champion of Brave CF.

On November 17, 2017, Loman became the inaugural Brave CF Bantamweight Champion. He won the title by knocking out Gurdarshan “Saint Lion” Mangat, 31, of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada via punches at “Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions” at the Khalifa Sports City Arena.

“Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions” was part of Brave International Combat Week 2017. During the event, it was His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, 29, who crowned Loman as the inaugural Brave CF Bantamweight Champion.

“Brave 18” marks Loman’s fourth appearance in Brave CF and the second time the Team Lakay fighter is defending his title in 2018. If he wins again, he will become the promotion’s reigning champion with the most number of successful title defenses.

In the Philippines, the live digital broadcast of “Brave 18” will be available via Brave TV. Meanwhile, here is a clip featuring Loman:
