The Philippines and Bahrain will be among the 11 countries represented at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.” It will be the first show of Bahrain-based mixed martial arts Brave Combat Federation to be held in the Philippines.
Featuring 10 MMA bouts, “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 15, 2019. In the second bout of the evening, Jason “Python” Vergara, 22, of the Philippines will face Hussain “Iron” Ayyad, 25, of Bahrain.
Finland, France, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sweden and the United States will also be represented at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.” Vergara is one of the 10 Filipino fighters on the card while Ayyad is the sole representative of Bahrain.
Blue Corner
Ayyad was born in Manama, Bahrain on November 10, 1993. He is training out of Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) in Manama.
“Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” marks Ayyad’s fourth Brave CF bout. He won two of his three previous bouts in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion.
Red Corner
Vergara has been competing professionally since 2017. He is training out of Underground Battle Mixed Martial Arts (UGB MMA) in Marikina City, Metro Manila.
“Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” marks Vergara’s Brave CF debut. He previously in UGB and Predator Fight Series.
