The Philippines was among the eight countries represented at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.” It was the first show of Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion Brave Combat Federation to be held in the Philippines.
Featuring nine MMA bouts, “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 15, 2019. In the fifth bout of the evening, Harold “The Artist” Banario, 24, of Mankayan, Benguet, Philippines faced Ariel “The Lady Boxer” Oliveros, 24, of Ormoc, Leyte, Philippines.
Banario was originally set to face Gamzat Magomedov, 23, of St. Petersburg, Russia at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors.” But the Russian fighter who is training out of KHK MMA in Manama, Bahrain has been forced to pull out due to undisclosed reasons and was replaced by Oliveros.

Red Corner
Training out of Team Lakay in La Trinidad, Benguet, Banario has been competing professionally since 2012. He is the younger brother of former ONE Featherweight World Champion Honorio “The Rock” Banario, 29.
Harold was supposed to make his Brave CF debut at “Brave 20: India” at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India on December 22, 2018. However, he was forced off his scheduled bout against Angad Bisht, 20, of Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand, India and was rescheduled against Magomedov.
