Asad “The Killer Jutt” Warraich of Pakistan will compete in the strawweight division at “ONE Warrior Series 9” in Singapore on December 4, 2019 against Allan Albindo of the Philippines. It marks the Pakistani mixed martial artists debut in Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series debut.
Hailing from Gujrat, Pakistan, Warraich is an undefeated fighter with a professional MMA record of 3 wins and 0 loss. He won all of his first three fights in Pakistan.
On January 27, 2018, Warraich made a successful professional MMA debut by submitting Faisal Malik at “Prime Sports: Victory Fight Night 3.” They had their rematch at “Pakido FC 2” on April 21, 2018 and Warraich won again but via knockout via punches.
On July 22, 2018, Warraich scored another submission victory. He defeated Namatullah Khan at “Prime Fight Series 1.”
On the other hand, Albindo has 1 win and 1 loss. “ONE Warrior Series 9” marks his third outing in ONE Warrior Series.
The martial arts journey of Warraich started with Muay Thai. After six months of training Muay Thai, the Gujrat native started his training in MMA.
“In the beginning, my family wondered what I was going to do,” Warraich recalled. “They were worried but after seeing my hard work and success, my family started supporting me. I want the world to know me as the best MMA fighter.”
“I want to make my country’s name known all over the world,” Warraich declared. “I want my family and my country to be proud of me. I am very happy to be a part of ONE Warrior Series.”
“It’s a big opportunity for me,” the Gujrat native added. “I will represent Pakistan and I will give my best to make this opportunity a proud movement and for those who are working hard and want to achieve something, my message is (for them to) look in to themselves to see what they can do best and focus on that, get on track and work hard. In Sha Allah, success will kiss their footsteps.”
